Introducing Habelo Beauty

Friends, last week, we proudly launched Habelo Beauty!

What does “launched” mean exactly? It means that after 14 months Habelo-building, we were able to finally flip the switch on our brand-spanking-new e-commerce website and open our doors for business online.

I couldn’t be more excited and proud to introduce Habelo. Here is my “Letter from our Founder” that was posted to the website.

What is Habelo

Habelo. Our name is our purpose, the combination of two words: HABEO (Latin: hold, keep) + BELO (Portuguese: beautiful, lovely) HOLD ON TO BEAUTY

Who we are

Habelo is a pioneering beauty innovation company on a mission to rewrite the narrative around hand care.

I was inspired to create Habelo because — honestly — my hands were overlooked for a really, really long time. And they looked it (“overlooked”). So Habelo is a love letter to hands.

Hands are extraordinary and they deserve better.

They are the architects of art and the instruments of creativity, making connections and shaping our world.

Vital to our journey, our hands play a unique role in our lives that translates into over-exposure to damaging environmental stressors.

Signs of damage appear early due to life’s constant assault on the youthful vitality of our hands. Tone, texture, clarity, elasticity, and hydration become compromised. Overall skin aging shows up on hands first. Age-related concerns that appear on our faces in our 40s often appear on our hands as early as our 20s and 30s.
