I’m just about 2 months away from launching Habelo.
I’m 100% wildly excited (and a pinch terrified because it’s really, really happening and launch is approaching fast).
Here’s a glimpse of what today looked like — notice the wildly opposing set of tasks. And a moment of appreciation of how my neurodivergent ADHD makes me primed for this (– and, by the way — how great that we can acknowledge that now).
TODAY:
- Did a final review of the Clinical Trial materials that I’m about to conduct with a research team to demonstrate the clinical efficacy of the line in a 30+ person study. Reviewing research materials and questionnaires feels different when it’s your own investment and the products you’ve painstakingly developed.
- Ordered jars.
- Worked on graphic design (by myself — having led creative teams in corporate settings helps!) for some minor elements related to packaging.
- Discussed lead time for key biotech ingredients with a DM and checked whether the timing for manufacturing is on track for my launch date.
- Scheduled a call with a Beauty Influencer (1MM followers) for tomorrow to talk about the brand.
- Updated my ‘pitch deck’ for an investor call tomorrow.
- Approved the wireframes for the pre-launch (i.e., “Coming Soon”) website and the eCommerce website.
- Worked with engineering partners on the development timelines for a proprietary AI-enabled tool that will live on the site.
AND, spent 2 hours working a set of deliverables for a client for a meeting tomorrow.
AND, AND I also tried to take a frozen yogurt break up the street as a reward, but they are closed for construction.
My ‘quiet’ in the blog-sense is just incredibly busy.
Energized. Happy. Very, very, very happy.
